Ingredients
- 2 tuna steaks (6-8 oz each)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Pat tuna steaks dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Sear tuna steaks for 2-3 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, stir-fry mushrooms and cabbage until softened (about 5-7 minutes).
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and sesame seeds.
- Pour sauce over the vegetables and stir-fry for another minute.
- Slice tuna steaks and serve over stir-fried vegetables.
- Garnish with green onions and serve with cooked rice.
